What to expect

Inspiration is a big reason people come to the conference, but the all-new SGR Servant Leadership Conference is designed to go beyond the traditional conference format. There will still be plenty of inspiration.  Inspiring speakers has been the hallmark of the Servant Leadership Conference, and that’s going to stay the same.  But we’re adding some new wrinkles that will make it even more practical.  You will see how applying the principles of servant leadership to your organization’s systems will take servant leadership from being merely inspirational to transformational. 

Learning from colleagues has always been a part of the SGR Conference, but now we’re going to make it an even bigger part. Throughout the conference participants will have the opportunity for mutual learning from each other on how to apply these principles to every system in your organization.  SGR has worked with local government leaders from around the country to design thought-provoking scenarios that will help you know how to go back to your organization, and instill these principles into the everyday functions of your work.

Case Studies will give you insights on how other organizations are already transforming their cultures.  You will have the chance to learn what’s working; what pitfalls to avoid; and how to implement changes in a way that really make a difference.
